  4. Thanks a lot. It always a struggle whether to pick high end products vs. the drugstore ones. I am all for cheaper products if they're good. Hate to spend $90 on an eye cream that is 0.4 oz. This helps a lot. Thank you again.

  5. Thanks for the video! I've been looking for some good products from the drugstore for my face, especially a good moisturizer and cleanser. Do you think that the Clean & Clear moisturizer is good for oily skin, considering you said it gives your skin a nice glow? The word "glow" always scares people with oily skin, haha.

    Thanks! :)

  6. Great video. For some reason YouTube was not letting me post there, so I will do it here :)

I also love St Ives scrubs and have for a while. It's apricot scrub was one of the first ones I ever tried when I was a teenager and fell in love with it. Got the olive one recently and it is nice, not very harsh.

It is also interesting to see how different packagings are in the USA and in UK for exactly the same things :)

Check out my fairly new blog too, please.

  8. I'm glad you had better results with the Healthy Skin Enhancer than I did. I used it for two weeks without a problem. Actually, I thought it was my HG tinted moisturizer. And then, it happened. CYSTIC ACNE. What a painful experience that took forever to clear up. I would be careful with this product!

  10. Thanks for doing this video. Like you I have very oily, acne prone skin. I went to a dermatologist and was put on Retin A Micro along with some other stuff that does not work with keeping my oil at bay. I would much rather buy drugstore stuff than pay all the money that I do to go to a doctor. I am definitely going to try some of these products!

  13. Going to try a few things now! Thanks for doing that, I never bought anything for my skin/makeup at the drugstore, becasue always think they would not work, but I guess I should try it and see. I ran out of the bobby brown eye cream and don't want to spend $60 on it again!

  15. ok, so I have totally looked everywhere for the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment, where on earth did you find it? Anyone? is it new or something? or maybe discontinued?

  16. Thanks a lot for this post. I had recently tried ProActiv which made my skin so very uncomfortable. I was using the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control scrub which suited my skin pretty well. After viewing your video, I went and bought Neutrogena Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment and Neutrogena Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. My skin is soothing now.. :)

Drew: This is a new product by Neutrogena. I bought mine from Target.

  17. Do you know where to buy those cute little beads that hold makeup brushes upright in glass containers [like they have at Sephora]? I would love to store my brushes like that but can't find those beads. Thanks!

  18. Tricia: I bought my little beads at Michael's craft supply store in the flower arranging supply section.

  22. Hey Tiffany,

Thanks for all the suggestions! I was browsing around for some new cleansers at the drugstore.

Since you mentioned scrubs, have you tried St. Ives Apricot scrub for the body (not face)? It has the most amazing smell and I've been using it for 3 or 4 years now. I figured that since you're giving everyone some awesome drugstore finds, that I would give one back to you ;)

  23. great video! as an esthetician, I just wanted to bring up a few things--I hope you don't mind! First off, be careful with the st. ives scrubs--while they feel like they are doing a great job, many of the exfoliating particals used are irregular and jagged. This can rip a pore--causing irreversable damage to your skin! this will make the pore not only appear larger but also fill up quickly and cause blackheads and breakouts. not to mention be noticably bigger.

Secondly, it's hard to say which of these products are great finds in general because too often the ph of the product in the drug store is not appropriate for the skin. your skin has a ph of 4.5-5.5 and you want to keep all your skin care items within that ph range. A wonderful idea would be to get some ph strips and test the products you love--and don't love--and compare! I bet you'll find the ones you love have an appropriate ph level :) you can read more about ph and how it affects your skin at my new blog http://makeupbymeganalexis.com

  25. Tiffany, I need your help! I am having problems with the moisturizer I was using. It is from Lancome, I am starting to have signs of aging, and fine lines. These cream started to irritate my skin a lot. Do you think that one of those skincare products that you recommended would be good for me? Please send me an email at paola.sr@gmail.com I would appreciate it a lot! I am completely lost, I am 24 by the way.

  26. Hey Tiffany!

I love your product videos. And because you help me with great tips-- I just want to comment on using the Clean and Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser. I did noticed that only walmart carried it as far as I know. When I first used it I thought Wow! I really like this! Its thick and creamy like a mask but not a mask. After using it a while I noticed it would really dry my skin out really bad. My skin is more on the oily side too. Also, I didn't notice this until my sister pointed it out to me one day.. when I rinsed my face and pat dried with a towel it would make these bleach stains all over the towel. So instead of using this product daily or even every other day... I ended up using it like once a week.

  28. I'd like you to try to feature more products from companies that do not test on animals. The only cruelty-free product you have on this list is St. Ives.

  29. The L'oreal Go 360 Clean Cream Cleanser actually does contain salicylic acid. I'm not sure if it says on the plastic packaging, but in the ingredient list on the back of the bottle it does say salicylic acid.

  31. I'm a mom of teens ages 14-18, I have come to the point in my married life that I can say the prime has passed and the excitement deteriorated. But one day a friend visited me and I was surprised at how young she looks considering that she is 4 years older than me! Then she introduced me to REVIVE SP from the Purity12's line of products. And the rest is history for the name stood up to its promises. Fine lines are gone and it made my skin supple. Not only was my skin revived but also my married life! Thanks much Purity12! try it now!

  32. Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing the quality skincare products you found at the drugstore. I'm definitely going to give some of them a try. My skin is oily with uneven skin tone. The Neutrogena products you mentioned is perfect for controlling my oily skin. I am currently using a c-clarifying serum to even out the skin tone and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I hope these products, together with my c-exfoliating day lotion, will help make my skin look healthy and clearer.

  34. Tiffany looks beautiful in the video! Skincare products can be pricey, but you will realize that every cent is well-spent when you see the results after use. You just have to look for one which will best complement your skin. After that, you will surely get the attention of all the boys. :)
